What a busy week and weekend for me !!!… into major renovations – AND also I hurt my ankle this weekend. When I was trying to nail down a 2 by 4, I slipped off the ledge of the cement, twisted my foot and sat on it. That was so painful !!!
Matt the Great helped with the renovation with Julien .. also my DJ teacher has been around to teach me lot’s of fun stuff. The only thing that is a big pain in the ass is insulating the basement for my sound room. I bought sound proof insulation so my neighbours would not hate me so much :) Here are some pictures of the project…have a great Monday!!!

Wow, Pierre!
Looks like the ‘reno team’ has been busy. Perhaps you could film the whole gig and make a Reality TV Show out of it lol!
Sorry to hear about your injury – hope it gets better soon.

I’m glad your ankle is better. You really gave me a scare. When I heard you scream I almost fell down the stairs trying to get to you, LOL. Now, if both of us had gotten hurt poor Julien would have been left to do all the work all alone, hehe.
The room is looking great. It looks like you two got a little more done after I left. The TV is perfect on that post!
Thanks again for the great weekend. I had a blast… except for the insulation. Damn, that stuff is a bitch to put in
Love you!

Please tell me the 2 wires 9red/yellow) are temporary or, if not, the baseboard (plinthe) is never switched on?!

How’s the humidity levels down there? might want to invest in a dehumidifier and hygrometer to ensure your equipment isn’t affected.
Hope your ankle feels better..keep off it!
Cheers
Frank

It’s pretty cool and not humid Frank. That may be more of an issue if I was in Atlanta:)
